The end of the year is nearing

So its almost Christmas, and shortly after that it will be new year...
2015... Sounds odd...

But first!!

We still have our very last class for the year this Saturday, 13 Dec.

And we still have our Elf on the Shelf special running until closing time.
Which sadly has to happen.

So please note that we will be closed from the 23rd Dec, we are still open on the 23rd - our last day, and we will be re-opening on the 5th Jan 2015.

So stay tuned for upcoming classes and specials for the new year!!  YAY!
AND we will post some cute links and pictures for Christmas ideas and crafts next week, so don't miss it!

Celindy's First Year End Function

The first of many to come.

Last night, 21 Nov 2014, we had our very first year end function to celebrate how far our awesome team has come!

Starting on the left, we have
Belinda and Cindy - our lovely owners, and
right we have Miranda - Shop assistant/manager.










We had a blast with delicious food, good wine and rose, and lovely, up beat company.

We got to know each other a little better. Belinda's husband Braam, and Cindy's husband Jaun, are quite the gentleman and we had non-stop conversation all night.

 

Thank you to each every one of our clients; without your support we would not be here. It is greatly appreciated! We hope to be around for years to come, to share in creative genius, fun and liberty.

Vintage Christmas Class

So next weekend, 29 Nov 2014,  we're doing a Vintage Christmas themed class, and its going to be awesome!!

We have space for 6 people, at a cost of R450 per person.
This includes:
Light breakfast and lunch,
Photo booth with props, photo's will be taken and printed on site, and
Naturally all the pages and goodies to build your Vintage Christmas page.

We decided to use the My Minds Eye - All is Bright paper, and the example is looking stunning!

Christmas Vibes

It's that time of year, Christmas time! And tis' the season to be jolly!

Christmas is that time of year when giving needs no reason.
So for the first Christmas season in Celindy Scrappers; we decided we'd do a Elf on the Shelf theme.

What does that mean for you? It means you get to play and win, and feel some Christmas cheer! We took adorable little elves, and hid them all around the store. All you need to do is find one and step up to collect your small gift.

October 2014 Special

A belated update on our opening

Our big opening!

So this update is a little late, but better late than never.

On 2 June 2014, we opened our store in Hennopspark, Centurion.

It started off on a great Pink Bang!

On our Grand Opening on the 7th of June, we had Harry Campbell singing, some dancing girls, boerewors rolls (sausage rolls) and coffee on sale.

It was a huge success and the feedback was great! People were glad to have somewhere closer to home for their scrapbooking supplies, and many comented on how nice it was to see a shop with a true feminine feel.

Since then we have started giving class and the feedback is still positive!
We are loving the whole experience. Our owners Belinda and Cindy are as passionate as ever and I (Miranda, store manager) am having tons of fun expressing my creative side.

We are drawing nearer to Christmas though and I cannot wait to get all the festive classes and specials on the run! Yes I know its only October, but planning as always needs to happen in advance which means i know what fun is in store for everyone coming to visit us. ~Yippy!~
